“Sinsar” a name derived from creative siblings Sindoor and Sarthak, is a sister concern of Kenil Industries, a fashion house, that manufactures fashion and home accessories since 1976. Sinsar Minaudieres are state of the art evening and day small bags that are more than accessories. They are conversation pieces, each designed and handcrafted with exquisite materials, in varied shapes.

 

Material and fabrication

Sinsar Minaudieres are designed and handcrafted with mixed medium and material. We use fabric, wire, fresh shell sheets, metal scrap, wood, metal sheets (brass, copper, german silver), glass, stone, plastic, resin, paint, enamel using fabrication methods such as metalsmithing, crochet, macrame, embroidery, enameling, stained glass. Our bags are structured with a sturdy metal frame or hinges and a suede or fabric inner lining.

 

Styling and designing

We design our Minaudieres to appeal to the global woman. Our collections feature styles for brides, the modern lady and also someone who is a standout among the crowd. Our bags are sketched and designed based on the raw materials and fabrics we discover, as we go. We experiment with different material combinations and work with craftsmen in India to manufacture them for the various markets.

 

Colors and customization

We customize our designs, colors and material combinations to suite our client’s needs. We work with fashion designers, stylists and buyers to establish current and future trends and implement them in our collections.

 

Construction and craftsmanship

At Sinsar, we believe in highest quality and no compromise, in terms of aesthetics, construction and craftsmanship. We work with local, top quality, trained artisans to produce perfect pieces. Competition

Minaudieres have existed as a style accessory since the 1940s. However, it is a forgotten category and Sinsar is on it’s way to revive the popularity of these bags. We are carving a niche by manufacturing high quality, customised minaudieres using unique and unconventional as well as classic and high quality material sourced from various parts of the globe.

 

Social responsibility

Sinsar employees physically and mentally challenged people for production of minaudieres. We take  pride in handcrafted skills of the underprivileged women by outsourcing our work to them.
